The Nissan GT-R is the ultimate in cheaper fast cars. It is replacing the old Skyline GT-R which was Nissan's sports car in the late 60's to early 70's and also from the late 80's to the early 2000's. They released the new GT-R in December of 2007. The 2011 GT-R has a 3.8L 520 hp engine, but for 2012 a brand new 540 hp engine will be used. To help this beast get the most power possible, it has a 6-speed automatic dual clutch transmission and with AWD it can go from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds while using "launch control." After you have the thrill of its intense acceleration you will be able to feel its intense top speed of 196 mph. But unfortunately, it costs $89,950, so it won't be in my garage for a long time.
