Ferrari LaFerrari

This last March of 2013, at the geneva Motor Show, three big name super car companies released three big hitters. One of those was from Ferrari called the LaFerrari. The LaFerrari is in a league of its own, with the other two big hitters, but you know what I mean. Its on a whole another level because its one of the first, street legal, hybrid super car released to the public. Its not like your conventional Prius hybrid system, instead they use a system found on Fourmula-1 cars called KERS or kinetic energy recovery system. What that means is when you brake it takes the energy from braking and stores it in a battery for when you need an extra boost, like 163hp of boost. With that added to a 6.3 L V12 with 789hp this makes the LaFerrari the most powerful Ferrari while keeping the fuel consumption reasonable. With the help of a curb weight of 2,767lbs this rocket will get to 60 mph in under three seconds and will reach a lighting fast pace of 220mph. Unfortunately there will only be 499 units made at a price of $1,300,000!
