The Pagani Zonda is a pretty awesome mid engine, real wheel drive, super car they is both fast and furious. The Zonda has been out since 1999 with only 207 units produced until 2011 when it stopped after three special editions with the Huayra replacing it. The last special edition is being produced up through 2012. The car was originally designed by a F1 driver and was going to be named after him but when he died in 1995 Pagani changed the name to an air current above there home country of Italy. The were two different body styles: Berlinetta or coupe and Roadster which where both 2 seater. There where nine normal models and 14 special editions over its 13 year rain. The one I'm ma going to cover is the Zonda F which is the most known Zonda. The F like all Zonda was made out of carbon fiber with a massive engine in the back. The F had a Mercedes-Benz AMG, 7.3 L, V12 with 602 hp and 560 ft-lb of torque. That massive engine plus the light weight of the F, weighing in at 2,700 lbs and the dual clutch sequential gear box made it possible for lighting fast shifts and a 0-60 mph time of only 3.6 seconds. The thing that sets the Zonda F apart from most cars in the world is its top speed 214 MPH and its price tag of $1,388,270.94, yes it does cost almost 1.5 million.
