2014 C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

For more then a decade the pervios C6 Corvette was an American icon. It was thought that there would not be a C7 because at the time Chevrolet did not have any money to spend on the project. Actually the project was shut down completely. As you can see it is back and booming with a brand new Vette that is using the same V8, front engine, real wheel drive, layout as the first Corvette back in 1955. But there are some minor difference that separate this one from the first one back in 1955. On the new C7 they have gone bonkers with weight saving trimming off about 300lbs bring the C7 to hopefully 3000lbs. Another cool thing that has been added is cylinder deactivation cleave the engine into a 3.1L V4 at cruising speeds with a EPA of 28 mpg. They have also refined the interior making it less of a Motel 6 to car that is nice to sit in. Going back to the engine when it is not in eco mode it is a monstrous 6.2L V8 that ponds out 450hp and 450 ft-lb torque which is more then current Z06 7.0L. With a price tag of $56,000 its pushing its way in to the european market and making companies like Porsche start to worry.
